Zacapa

Zacapa is an ultra-premium rum from Guatemala, unique for its 'Sistema Solera' aging process which takes place 'above the clouds' at 2,300 meters above sea level. Its uniqueness also stems from its use of 'virgin sugar cane honey' rather than molasses, resulting in a naturally sweeter and smoother spirit. The rum is aged in a variety of casks, including those previously used for bourbon, sherry, and Pedro Ximénez wine. This creates a decadent, rich, and honeyed profile with notes of chocolate and dried fruit, presented in bottles hand-wrapped in traditional petate palm leaves.
