Produced in Panama by Varela Hermanos, Ron Abuelo is unique for its 'estate-grown' philosophy—they grow 100% of their own sugarcane. The rum is aged in white oak barrels and, in their 'Finish Collection,' utilize Sherry, Cognac, and Tawny Port casks. It is a smooth, caramel-driven rum that reflects the rich agricultural heritage and tropical climate of Central America.
