La Trappe
La Trappe is a world-renowned Trappist brewery located at the Onze Lieve Vrouw van Koningshoeven Abbey in the Netherlands. Its uniqueness is defined by its 'Authentic Trappist Product' seal, making it one of the few breweries in the world where beer is brewed under the supervision of monks to support the monastery. La Trappe is known for its wide variety of styles, including the first-ever Trappist 'Witbier' and the legendary 'Quadrupel.' These beers are characterized by their rich, fruit-forward yeast profiles, high complexity, and a smooth, warming finish that results from traditional top-fermentation and bottle conditioning.
