Glen Garioch

Glen Garioch (pronounced 'Glen Geery') is one of the oldest operating distilleries in Scotland, located in the fertile 'Granary of Aberdeenshire.' Its uniqueness stems from its history of being one of the few Highland distilleries to traditionally peat its malt, though modern unpeated releases maintain a robust, 'meaty' Highland character. The spirit is known for its thick, honeyed, and spicy profile, with notes of heather and toasted barley. It remains a small-batch, artisanal distillery that focuses on heavy, flavorful spirits that mature exceptionally well in both Bourbon and Sherry casks.
