Glen Elgin
Glen Elgin is a Speyside distillery often referred to as a 'distiller's secret' because most of its production is used as the heart of the White Horse blend. Its uniqueness lies in its traditional production methods, including the use of worm tubs which impart a heavy, oily, and robust character to the spirit. When bottled as a single malt, it is known for its distinctive 'fruitcake' and honeyed sweetness, balanced by a waxy texture. It is a sophisticated and complex malt that is highly prized by connoisseurs for its rich, old-school Speyside elegance.
