Caorunn
Caorunn is a modern 'Small Batch' Scottish gin produced at the Balmenach Distillery in Speyside. Its uniqueness is found in its use of five locally foraged Celtic botanicals: rowan berry, bog myrtle, heather, coul blush apple, and dandelion. These are infused in a unique 'Copper Berry Chamber'—a round horizontal vat from the 1920s that gently extracts flavors. This process results in a dry, crisp, and aromatic gin that is traditionally served with a slice of red apple to highlight its unique Highland heritage and floral sweetness.
