Balblair

Established in 1790, Balblair is one of the oldest and most scenic distilleries in the Scottish Highlands. It was long unique for its 'Vintage' approach, labeling whiskies by the year they were laid down rather than by age. Though they recently shifted back to age statements, the spirit remains celebrated for its unhurried craft, non-chill filtration, and a bright, orchard-fruit character that is shaped by its remote location overlooking the Dornoch Firth.
